man, the more I see heavily tattooed people, the more I dislike this lifestyle. people getting their faces and necks tattooed so they’re “attractive.” girls thinking a guy is hot just because of his tattoos. fuck that. tattoos don’t make anyone more or less of a person. that’s just absurd. they don’t make anyone more, or less, beautiful. if anything, they give people an attitude problem, which in my eyes, makes them an ugly person (but that’s just me. I cannot stand overly cocky, rude people).
I’ll be 24 in a couple weeks, and my hands, neck, and face are free of tattoos. I’m in the tattooing industry, and I’m still in no rush to tattoo those areas. I know it’s a big step, and in my opinion, you should “put your time in” before making that big step. I’ve seen kids out there who are barely 19, and nearly out of room. I just want to know what posses these kids to get covered so quickly, so fast. is it for some sort of approval? is it to be a “hard ass?” whatever the reason, I just don’t understand it.
anyway, my point was that you don’t need all the flash of tattoos to make you more of a person. chill out, kids.
well obviously i'm not a professional sweetheart. you don't have to be an asshole to me i was just asking, and i have no intentions of buying some crap kit from the website. NOR tattooing in a basement like some scratcher. sorry. I actually want to get an apprenticeship. so much for "southern gentleman". god bless.
actually, I do have to be an asshole when it comes to things like this. this is my career that I’ve worked very hard for. this is a trade that everyone puts their all into, and we’ll be damned if scratchers try to shame it.
if you were really concerned about obtaining an apprenticeship, you’d be focusing on your artwork, and proving yourself to a shop/artist. not asking me what “gun,” or ink I use. your mentor will cover that when you apprentice. don’t get ahead of yourself.
call me an asshole, or say that I’m not a gentleman all you want. it doesn’t bother me any. this is something I take seriously.
not answering this. judging by your use of the word “gun,” you’re not a professional. likely some kid who is looking to buy a tattoo kit off amazon, and scratch up your friends dumb enough to get a tattoo from you in your basement. I wouldn’t share what I use with just some person. definitely not someone who is anonymous. honestly, I’m offended you even asked me this. what an insult. get fucked.
